Construction Update
September 4, 2014 
Project Overview
This project will perform concrete pavement rehabilitation along Redwood Road (S.R.68) between I-80 (about 250 South) and 1000 North in Salt Lake City. This project will repair the concrete between North Temple and 1000 North. The project will remove asphalt and replace it with 6″ of concrete between North Temple and 250 South. The project will also repair or replace pedestrian ramps as needed. No roadway widening is expected, however lane reconfiguration and bike lane addition will be included in the project.

Project Activities:
I-80 to North Temple:
As the project nears completion, crews will begin roadway striping through Friday, September 5.
 
North Temple to 1000 North:
Crews will be working the nights of September 4 and 5 beginning at9 p.m. until 5 a.m. to grind the Southbound lanes near the intersection of North Temple and Redwood Road. One lane will remain open, motorists can expect some delays.
Project Impacts:
Project impacts will include traffic shifts, night work and access limitations. Local residents and businesses may experience noise, dust, and vibration during the day and at night.
